Title: Problems Using Enzymes for Isolating/Recovering Cells? VitaCyte has Answers.
Overview: Enzymes are critical reagents for cell isolation or recovery of cells after in vitro culture. The limited choice of GMP-Grade commercial enzymes for these applications presents a hurdle to developers who need an alternative source of a critical enzyme. VitaCyte purifies and characterizes Clostridium histolyticum collagenases and other neutral proteases suitable for various applications. The presentation will show how VitaCyte collaborated with a stem cell company to provide them with a purified Aspergillus-derived neutral protease from the crude raw material that substantially improved the productivity of manufacturing their drug substances.
